About Jokuda

We're a licensed Australian mortgage and finance broker, built by a lender-side risk specialist who spent twenty years watching borrowers get shown too few options. Jokuda exists to do the homework properly.

Why we started

Most brokers can only recommend from the lenders on their panel, and most borrowers never find out what was left off it. After two decades approving loans from the lender's side of the table, our founder kept seeing the same thing: people signing one of the biggest financial commitments of their lives with surprisingly little information in front of them.

Jokuda is the answer to that. We compare products from 50+ Australian lenders, we explain why each recommendation made the list, and we tell you honestly when something doesn't fit — because the wrong loan costs far more than no loan at all.

How we work

You tell us what you need in a short form — about two minutes, no credit check. Then we do this the proper, regulated way: you sign a privacy consent, we have a real conversation about your situation, and only then do we recommend. We built software that searches lender policies so nothing gets missed, but every recommendation is made by a licensed person who has actually spoken with you.

Our service is free to you on most products — lenders pay us a commission when your loan settles, and where a broker fee applies we disclose it before you commit. We rank options by fit for you, not by what pays us most, and on many loans we rebate part of our commission back to you. How the rebate works.
